Mammogram is still the gold standard, agency says

Not to dispute your findings, but I'm having a double mastectomy 1/27/14. My 3 separate breast cancers, with no lumps, did not show on mammograms or sonograms. Only a tiny suspicious area showed on an MRI. I have been told that 20% of breast cancers do not show on mammograms. Why tell women they should have mammograms to feel safe from cancer when it is only 80% correct? Who are you trying to fool?

My only warning of breast cancer was a nipple bleed.
