Study? Huh, how many times have a heard a study done that 20% this or 40% that when I knew my thoughts, my neighbors & friends, etc had not even been calculated in, much less co-workers etc. I say your study has some flaws. More importantly how can you talk about the expense/price of breast implants, reconstruction after a double mastectomy, when...if it was not done, and a lumpectomy with radiation instead would cost much, much more! Besides the health risks! Remember....that's why we're not supposed to have many X-rays?...cuz X-rays are bad for you....that's Radiation!! Radiation alone is very expensive, on top of that the patient may also be prescribed hormone blockers for the one breast not removed if breast cancer was due to hormones. My whole body needs certain hormones otherwise I could have health problems from that too. Not to mention the great possibility of health problems "from" having had radiation, i.e., heart damage, lung damage, and other complications down the line. Yeah she made it through cancer but died later of heart failure. No thank you! I'm very happy with my decision to have had a double mastectomy with breast reconstruction. And, I'm glad I don't have to will show up in the other breast ....I don't need to psych myself out. Also what would you tell Angeline Jolie?'s better to wait, use radiation, etc for cancer than spending the $ for a mastectomy? I didn't think so! People are much smarter about their health than you think! And enough with these cancer raising $$ funds!! There are natural "cures" out there that the pharmaceutical companies won't use cuz they don't bring in enough money, so they put them on the back shelf! You've had more than enough money & time for cures....shows it's never going to happen! There's not enough money in it! It's Vegas folks, cancer clinics are popping up all over the place! Think about it.....
