1 Small Node In Each Lung

I am worried even though they did not call it cancer. This was my first CAT scan of the lungs, they are not doing anything until I get another cat scan. Are there others, that had nodes as I described, that turned out not to be mets???

Generally the options are to get another CAT scan in a few months and see if the spots changed or get a PET scan to see if they are hot or biopsy the spots.  Usually its best to wait and repeat the scan and see if growth occured.  It may not be mets at all.

The screwed up thing about my catscan was knowing I had a tumor on my left collarbone, the primary tumor was found on my right kidney which was just removed last week.

They said they saw a 2mm nodule on one of my lungs but aren't even paying atention to it because it could be a million things. Plus I think it's too small anyway.
