My dad (age 64) was diagonsed with colon cancer stage 3 around Jan 15th 2007. (I live in the U.S, and my dad lives in Seoul, South Korea) He had surgery to take out the part (about 6inches) of his colon in the end of Jan. They said that the tumor was about 2inches, and 4 our of 12 lymph nodes are positive to cancer.
He started chemo with avastin last week, and we were told that other part of his organ is fine EXCEPT they see little thing
(bubblelike) in his liver! They said that they are not sure what it is. Don't worry. It is not a serious problem. However, I am so worried that it might have been spread to his liver, and afraid that they might have just said that only because he is on his chemo treatment and is not able to have another intense test on his liver due to his health condition.
Is there anyone who knows how metasized liver looks like? They say they see small bubblelike. Is it cancer?
Thank you so much for your respond. This board comforts me a lot.
Best,
m
