Oncrx Fri, 09 Mar 2007 00:00:00 GMT My Mom has PC, just did second chemo treatment of Gemzar yesterday.  She has been complaining of shortness of breath - the doctor detected wheezes in one of her lungs and sent us for an Xray.  Haven't gotten the results yet but am very nervous because her blood cell counts had all dropped by 30-40% after the first treatment.  Am waiting for the results from the Xray, the nurse said could be pneumonia.   Has anyone seen blood cell counts drop that much from one chemo treatment??  Does anyone know what the wheezes may mean??
