It is one week since I last applied Carac to back of hands and forearms (once a day - 28 days). All areas are turning a deeper red, there even seem to be more lesions appearing that have sort of connected. The skin looks and feels like deep acne scars (truley ugly). I just keep thinking they are going to fade, but after reading some of the latest postings, I'm terrified that I have permanently damaged my skin.
I was also treating the skin all around my lips including partial surface of my bottom lip. I am on day 23 (on face) and have decided to STOP. My doc apt. is next Tues.,13th. If anyone has had a similar experience and can tell me their outcome, it might help me get thru this weekend till I can see what my doc has to say.
I'm praying I just haven't given my arms and hands enough healing time. It just seems like they should NOT be looking WORSE as time goes by.
