I hope all of your tests go well! ENT's are hard to get in to see, I know.
I too was referred to an ENT for a painless lump, but mine is next to my nose on my face. I have some symptoms that are very similar to yours. I have had what I thought were "hot flashes" for the past few months, but I'm 30 years old so that was wierd. I also wake up chilled at night and sweat like crazy when I sleep during the day, but no fevers. I'm tired all the time. I have a constant ache in my neck and upper back. My upper back is very itchy and sometimes my arms too. My ears hurt frequently. I also have a nagging pain in my right hip/ groin/ rear area and I'm gaining what appears to be a pretty significant amount of water weight in my belly. I could brush off all the other symptoms until I developed a hard bump on the side of my nose where my cheek meets my face that wouldn't go away. It is pretty far down in there, not really at the surface. You can't really see it, but I can feel it. It feels like a marble or a sourball. I tried to pretend like it wasn't there for a few months, but then went to my general doc. He sent me to the ENT who did a CT scan. He still has no idea what it is. There is a squishy area around it now. It vaguely itches too. I'm having a biopsy on Friday. I'm pretty scared. They are going to put me to sleep and chop up my face to get at this thing! I just hope I don't come out of this looking like Edward Scissorhands got ahold of me. My ENT says its either a benign tumor or a malignant tumor. I think I'll pick benign, but he specifcally mentioned lymphoma as a possibility which is why I'm lurking around on this site and wringing my hands. My dad had lymphoma too.
Hopefully our symptoms add up to something else entirely! Just wanted to let you know you're not the only one out there waiting and wondering.
