My wife was recently diagnosed with Linitus plastica at the University of Arizona Med Center. She has been the picture of health for 45 years and now is battling for her life against this ugly disease. She is being fed through a J-tube; and cannot even swallow water without vomiting it back. She/we has/have a tremendous support network, and yet the best treatment it seems we are able to find is to begin chemo and hope for some palliative care (I didn't even know that word existed five weeks ago) that will give her another year or two of life. God is giving her great strength. I feel He is giving me strength to search for new hope on the horizon. Anyone know where we'd begin to look?
