my mom

My mom has just finished her 1st cycle of chemo (3 weeks)  It has been very hard for her She doesn,t have an appetite  Everything has a metallic taste or tin taste to it Any suggestions  ]

Now she is the process of wig shopping  Any comments would be appreciated

Hey Jen,

 My mom's nurse told her after her first chemo treatment, that to get rid of the awful metalic taste, she should try plastic silverware. I'm not sure exactly why but it worked for her. Good luck. I sure hope it works.

Hi.  I had chemo almost 5 years ago.  I remember the metallic taste very well.   Try ice pops for your mom.   She's very lucky to have you.
