When my grandma was brought home from the hospital to pass in the peace of her own home. We had a nurse that came in once a day for about 2 or 3 hours, but we provided around the clock care, we took shifts. We did shifts that lasted about 8 hours and that way everyone had their own time and those that did not want to did not have to. I couldnt provide that much because I was a senior in high school and that took up a lot of my time, that I really couldnt emotionally sit there and watch her die. I was 18 at the time. Maybe that could be an option for you, maybe if you have close friends or family that would be willingly to help. You need to get everyone together and discuss your options. Maybe a hospice center would be best for your situation if you can not provide 24 hour care, they know what they are doing and will provide 24 hour care.
Best of luck to you and your family
