My father is almost totally ate of with cancer. It started in his lungs and then went to his brain. Now it is in his Eye and Liver, Spine, Thorax. It's hard enough dealing with the part that it has consumed him but losing his eyesight is something else. He has started radiation again to the head. Im curious if anyone has had to deal with this. Thank you

Shellie; My lung cancer was diagnosed after I was diagnosed with cancer in the eye. I have lost most of my vision in the right eye. I have been to 3 eye specialists who can't agree on whether it is melanoma (1st) metastatic (3rd) or a hemangenomia (not cancer). I don't think they know. If they do a biopsy it could spread (it already has) or I could lose my vision. (I have for the most part). They tell me my eye is the least of my problems. I disagree. If you can't read or get around it's a big deal. How long has your father been sick? I guess he has stage 4 also. Sheilah
