This should give you a better idea about the diseases. My cousin took poly mva as he was diagnosed with MGUS and in 3 months was found to have no more signs of MGUS. He is on maintainence of 2 tsp a day. I am a multiple myeloma survivor in remission also on 2 tsp a day. I took a large dose while ill.

Hi, I'm a 49 yr old woman who was just diagnosed with MGUS less than a week ago. I do have other health issues that led to this diagnosis through bone marrow biopsy. I have read up on this over the internet, however; in reading your comments, I am confused about the letters that some of you have behind your MGUS. Are there different kinds? I was just told by my Dr that I had many M-proteins. Can someone please tell me what these letters are and how to ask the doctor for mine? Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
