I have taken Avemar as have several other cancer patients that I know.i also know several doctors and nutritional experts who recommend this to most if not all of their cancer patients. It is a supplement to support the immune system through conventional treatments. Some people take it with other supplemental treatments for alternative rather than integrative treatment. It is well researched and produced in a pharmaceutical grade lab. It is not in place of other treatments but an additional support mechanism to alleviate the side effects of harmful treatments such as radiation, chemotherapy , hormone therapies. I find it is best to take it at night before retirig as it will absorb in my system while I am at rest and then I meet the within two hours after eating directions.

Good luck

My fathers been on it for a almost a month now. its backed by a LOT of scientific research. Can't say for sure what effect it is having on things, he's on so much stuff both natural and the drugs. I'm hoping its doing something to the cancer while boosting his immune system and helping maintain the weight. Thats best case.

My father has stomach CA and his first scan follwing his 2nd cycle show he is responding...... so we're waiting to see if the second scan will show another improvement. Unfortunately he is tolerating chemo less and less each time. So we're thinking of Avemar..... mainly because it is well documented. I've come across a similar product (a combination of Vitacell and Celladam) which I think is also from Hungary. This is also an immunostimulator/modulator- but has no human clinical trials or reviews.

The main problem we have at the moment is trying to get this shipped to Hong Kong where my father is. I'm in the UK and my sister is in New York. Has anyone else had this problem? 30 satchets costs apporx $170 US dollars which is pretty expensive. In Hungary, it costs $50 US over the counter. The only problem is trying to get the thing over to Hong Kong avoiding any unneccesary heat as the manufaturer advises it should be kept refridgerated. Has anyone got any ideas with regards to shipping meds refridgerated (long haul)?

Hello

I came from Hong Kong and is now living in Florida. My mother has lung cancer and I am really interested to get Avemar cheaper directly from Hungary too. If you know how to do it, please let me know. Highly appreciated. Thank you.

My good friend has been taking Avemar for 4 years now and is doing famously!!! She purchases it from the Australian company at  www.avemar.com.au  They have a good reputation for posting all around Australia and to other countries in heat resistant packaging. There are so many trials and studies continuing all around the world with Avemar. I believe there is about to be a study done in Australia for the first time. To view the latest published studies go to www.avemar.com [the Hungarian site] and click on ‘scientific papers’. There are now 52 publications!!! The Hungarian site is info only. This company does not sell the product. The reason the product is cheap in Hungary is because it is government subsidized, just as it is in Austria. Let’s hope the same thing can happen in some other countries soon.
