I have a relative that was just diagnosed with Stage 2 bone cancer in their hip.  The doctors told him they needed to replace the hip & the bone in their leg.  The family is seeking a 2nd opinion at a cancer center.  I'm just wondering what is the outlook for someone with Stage 2 bone cancer is.  This patient is in their 70's.

Thanks for any help!

Stage II Bone Cancer does not give enough information to comment on since "bone cancer"  Could be osteosarcoma, soft tissur sarcoma, or the most common bone tumor in the elderly Myeloma.  It could also be metastatic.
