Acne From Tarceva

My fiance has cancer in his liver and lungs.. They say his primary is in the pancreais.. He has been on Tarceva (oral) 150 mg daily and Gemzar infusion weekly.. All scans have shown improvement, But is acne or "rash" as they call it is getting much worse.. in all his hair follicles it hurts so bad..  His Dr. at the Cancer Treatment Ctr gave him CLINDAMYCIN PHOSPHATE lotion which worked for a while but now its really not doing much.. Any suggestions?  Or any idea why it stopped working?  Any suggestions would be great.

my husband took Tarceva for 2 months 150 mg daily and yes side effects are terrible, the first noticing was the face and back with white pustules and then the purpling of the face and itchiness in the scalp and upper body so I started giving oameal baths had his hair cut short and he laid in the oatmeal bath it helped and then went on Minocycline twice daily and then started a topical cream Onguent Fucidin to the affected areas and it helped. He is coming off Tarceva now is that the only side effects did he experience worse and persistent coughing more on Tarceva?
