Met To Liver, Spine

My dad has just been given a prognosis of 3-6 months. He has spots on his liver 'too numerous to count', several places in his lumbar spine, a 5.5 cm tumor in lymph node under his arm. He wants to try a research study, but he is seriously fatigued, losing weight, no appetite, very pale. He is in TX, and I'm in OH. I am concerned he doesn't have 3 months, but am not sure of hese symptoms. Anyone have any advice based on the symtoms I've listed on how much time he may really have?

is he getting any treatment?  Dacarbazine is an option for him but with his performance status, he is probably not eligeable for clinical trials.  His survival is up to him and God.  If he gets no treatment its probably closer to the 3 month time, but its hard to say.

His health has diminished so quickly in the past few days. He isn't eating, he's so fatigued, he just doesn't feel good at all. We are going to phone hospice.
