Hi Ev,

If you type 'Fucoidan' into google or yahoo it will give you lots of independent reports on its properties.  The site we have is called www.geldocs.com and if you click onto UMI (the product with fucoidan) it will tell you all about the benefits of UMI.  We have had some great testimonials from people who are taking this product from someone suffering with painful adhesions after operations from cancer to helping to control cholesterol levels and diabetes.  I take fucoidan every single day to help maintain my health.  The gel we have tastes of apple juice and is very pleasant to take.  It also helps increase our white blood cells and build the immune system.  I hope that helps.  Please feel free to ask for my telephone number if you want more information.

I was told by my acupuncturist that U-FN and Modifilan were good for detoxifying and killing cancer cells. I ordered it and started to take 6 capsules daily of each of them...I am on my third week...any information other than I read would be very helpful...

 These people will tell you PILLS ARE BAD and pills dont get used by your body and most of them get flushed out of your system whole and unused.  IF that was TRUE, why is most medication prescribed in pill formula.  Hey, buy the pills, grind them up and drink it.  Kinda scary to think you heart medication just goes through your intestines untouched and then gets flushed out of your body.  THEY WANT YOU TO PANIC!

I say take a pill if you can, buy the other products if you have nothing better to do with your money.  I have been taking the fucoidan pills for a little over a week now and can actually sleep through the night without waking up and feel so much more rested.  I have diabetes, high blood pressure and a thyroid problem, and am not that old.  I cannot afford the Limu Pyramid.

 The Person who refers to the business model of network marketing as a "pyramid" and suggests that money is added to the price to compensate the referring distribution system is obviously IGNORANT.  The business model attached to many great products is based on the network model of distribution. Direct Selling bypasses a lot of wasted advertising dollars and passes  the savings on to the end consumer.   I'm sure a  manufacturing company  that wants to compete with  a product being sold by network marketing would want people to believe they have as great a quality product at a better price.  Highly unlikely to find both quality in grade and lowest price in a company not using the most sensible form of advertising (Word of Mouth).

The above comments about pill efficacy in the human body is very general and also ignorant.  Many drugs are absorbed at different levels and based on different conditions the body's metabolism is in at the time of ingestion.  Yes, many forms of pill medication ends up in the sewer because of the body's inability to breakdown or absorb in the duodenum (small intestine). 

Many of the BEST products on the planet would never have reached the hands of the masses if it wasn't for the concept of distribution in network marketing.  Everyone becomes a member or distributor to get the product at wholesale and this benefits those who refer the product. Basic economic principles allow for an organization to develop a large customer base and many happy customers who can refer product can actually become a beneficiary of the referral. After all, we all refer people to a good product or service we have enjoyed, even without pay.  Think of the last great movie you saw or great restaurant.  This business model is NOT a "pyramid" like the corporation many of us have worked for where the CEO/President makes more money than the managers who make more money off the efforts of the workers.

The pyramid side (which is true - however fucoidan is expensive wherever it comes from - this is quite a palatable way to take it) to the side - gels and liquids tend to get absorbed a lot faster and are also easier to take. Tablets can sometimes be coated to avoid the active ingredient being destroyed in the gut and get absorbed further down the digestive tract - check whether it is in fact safe to crush them first. Sometimes they may not work after crushing - the best way to still get the maximum exposure to a drug of any kind is via direct into the bloodstream (IV line, injection etc) - this is not, however, the least invasive and easiest way for people to self administer! Tablets and pills are simpler an easier and more cost effective way to take 'medication' - not necessarily more or as effective. In fact, usually only about 10 - 20% of your tablet's active ingredient gets used! They all have differing levels, put much of these pills and tablets are just packed with 'carrying agents' - if it works, it works. Just bear in mind that all clinical trials with medications that compare to placebo (the sugar tablet with NO active ingredient) still get positive responses to placebo - the power of the mind is an amazing thing - even placebo surgery was shown to have some positive effects!! (not that it is ethical anymore...that's another story). All I would say is do the research and go with what you have the most confidence in - be it medical or natural. If your mind is happy with it, you're more than likely to get more favourable responses. Cheers.
