Should I get my bone marrow tested?

My doctor has advised that I need to get my bone marrow tested, but I'm really scared to do it.  Those of you that have had leukemia, do these symptoms sound like something to worry about?

I've had fever from 100-102.5 consistently for over a month, severe headaches, and ibuprofen does not help.  I feel weak/tired and getting weaker.  My WBC is 3.1 and the differential is SEGS 12%, BANDS 13%, LYMPH 46%, MONOS 13%, EOS 1% and BASOS 0%.  ABS SEG is 0.4 K/cumm.  Also my reactive lymph was high (0.5 K/cumm), not sure what that means.

I've been tested for everything else under the sun, does this sound like anyone's experience?

Thanks in advance!

I just read your message. My name is Kizzy and I have been in remission for over 5 years with AML.  I had a bone marrow transplant and things was going well for me until I got my blood checked yesterday.  My WBC is down so bad and I am scared that I may be relapsing. My doctor told me yesterday that I will need to get a bone marrow bio next week. Have you or any one you know suffered from this before?  Have you been to the doctor yet to see what your problem may be?
