Leep Procedure

Hi my name is carrrie and I have to go have a leep done on may 9th. and Im very scared. I have never been put to sleep and I hate needles. Anyway Im scared I want wake up and scared to have it done for the pain and stuff. I guess my question is for the ones that have been put to sleep to have it done are, Does the Iv hurt, Do they have to use the tube down your throat, and how much pain will I have after the procedure???? I have a lot of concerns and questions that most people cant answer unless they have done it. But anyway any thang that you can tell me about it can help me. Thank you
