My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer Jan 2006. Defying all odds, 6 rounds of chemo, 33 sessions of radiation, losing 80 pounds, he was NED until April. Now they found 5 tumors in the brain. He is having Gamma Knife Radiation, and will have full head radiation. Does anyone have anything they could recommend to help get rid of brain metasises?
When he had very aggresive chemo last time he lost 80 pounds, despite a feeding tube. I would like to help him build himself up and give him any special curative powers of food or food supplements, before he starts chemo and that would help him with the effects of chemo but doesn't negatively interact with it. Does anyone have any suggestions of things they have tried that have worked for themselves or their loved ones? I would apprciate any suggestions.
