Hi I have posted on here a few times and have made some great Friend's

my story is about my dad. He was dx in July 2006 and died on the 28th April 2007. We had fantastic funeral on Friday last, and now I just have to let everyone know on here. This disease is awful and I feel for all who are suffering or caring for someone with it. I apologize for the poor grammar as I am still in a blur.

I had the greatest pleasure in dressing my dad, and then later carrying his coffin( unusual I know for a woman) If anyone ever needs any help on here I will be looking in regularly and will help in anyway.

all thee best to everyone

Thank you for sharing your news with all of us....I am very sorry for your loss.  When you feel up to it, I would like to know what stage your father's cancer was in when they first found it (did he have the Whipple?) I am just learning all about this as my mom-in-law was just diagnosed with Stage 4 Ampullary Cancer (a cancer near the pancreas) in April.

Thanks again for your openness and honesty.
