Non-Hodgkins And Parkinson's

Hello there..

My father-in-law was just diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma.  In addition, he has Parkinson's disease as well. He's been hospitalized for about 2 weeks now b/c he's not tolerating the chemo very well.  But what's frustrating is that the doctors don't really know what's happening - if it's the side effect of the chemo, the parkinson's or something else. They've done catscans, biopsy, spinal tap and everything came back negative.

 I was wondering if anyone knows of someone with both illnesses or if you know of any information pertaining to this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just found tonight that my dad was diagnosed today with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He has had Parkinson's for awhile now and was diagosed with that at least 3 years ago. I am wondering if there is a connection between the two illnesses. He will be meeting with more doctors in about 3 weeks so that they can find out what stage he is in.
