sonhas germ cell cancer in his liver and lung also colon some cancer in colon is bad colon cancer, hes 29 and was born with bladder extrophy has had 26 surgerys dealing with birth deffect when he was 4 years old doctor ran his urine thru the colon then few years redo it took urine ran thru pouch made from intestance and my son cathreized from a small stoma, now at 29 years young he has cancer of colon caused from that surgery he had at a youngester, then the dc didnt know it would cause cancer. we have been here in this hospital in houston tx since 3rd of april hes had fluid build up in intire body under skin he gain about 80 lbs just fluid, his testiues were size of vollyball if your a man you can feel the pain, so now on day 47 hes had 2 rounds of kemo threedifferent types 5day treatments then one day each week, hes had his stomach drained about7times and had 3 tubes in chest to drain the lung fluid he is better but not getting well thedoc says to dangerous to put in another tube if fluid builds up on lungs again hell loss the lung, ive been here by his side the intire time and dont plan to leave, i understand everyones pain that going thru this is there anyone else with same case, the doc says its rare. now brian my son is having withdraw from getting off the marphine pump has been on high dose the whole time, cutting it off so we might try to go home for short time, i am tired get flustrated easy and then feel ashamed that i cant be strong enoiugh to pull him thru this what does a mother do,i watch my son suffer and hurt and swivlea away he weighted 136lb at start then weight 168lbs then had laycex to remove the fluid now weight about 100lbs his arma nd legs are like toothpicks. i guess what i ask is anyone else outthere with same kind of cancer and we could share time help s to talk but if i was to go to physic doc theyd probbly want to lock me up cause im on end very close to end but i have to be here for my son his father is in heavenas well as his grandparents so we are alone mostly,he has a brother but he has fourchildren and is very busy and i have three sisters they work but help us as much as they can talking to strangers sometimes helps. lets tslk GOD bless all darlene
