Date: 05/18/2007 Hello..my dad is about to head to Boston for a second opinion for his mesothelioma diagnosis. He will be seeing a doctor at the Dana Farber Institute. We have heard wonderful things about the doctor AND the facility, but I was wondering if anyone had first hand information. Thank you. Date: 05/21/2007 My mom is being treate at the Dana Farber Hosp for stage IV uterine cancer. We live in Boston and we are very happy with the treatment at Dana Farber. My family all agrees that they are angels on earth and are doing their best to help patients and families suffering with cancer. However, if your father has pleural mesothelioma he might want to see Dr. Sugarbaker at Brigham's & Women's also in Boston. My brother had advanced peritoneal mesothelioma so I've done some research and a lot of good things have been said about Dr. Sugarbaker. I'll pray for you and your father. Dr. Sugarbaker at Dana Farber/Brigham's is the doctor he saw. He loved him and will be using him for the surgery. I've heard nothing but good things about him and the hospital there!!
