Diffuse B Cell Nhl

Hi, I am new to all of this and am looking for some help/information from anyone who knows more about where my family can seek more help.  My brother-in-law was just diagnosed with diffused b-cell, this all come about very rapidly he went in 2 weeks ago because he thought his appendix needed to come out, after doing a CT scan the doc found a huge mass the size of a grapefruit in his abdomen.  Immediatley they called in Lymphoma.  He went into surgery a couple days later to remove the tumor, however its main blood supply is off of the abdominal aorta and could not be cut.  The diagnosis came back as stage 4 diffused b-cell.  On top of all of this, my sister is due with   his first child in just a couple of weeks.  He is due to start his chemo I believe they are doing CHOP, possibly R CHOP on May 31st.  Anyone that can provide me with more information on anything they know about this cancer, where I can direct them for financial help or anyother information would be great!!!

You should get your doctor/clinic to direct you towards the local lymphoma/leukemia socieities for financial support...it may be too late however, because they seem to have a cut-off period for providing assistance.

But keep all reciepts for gas etc... everything involving this cancer if at least for tax purposes...sign up for disability as soon as possible if you're sure you're not going to work.

Ask as many questions as possible...DO NOT let your doctors make decisions for you.  That has happened to me many times and they have been bad decisions.
