Hello Everyone!
I am new here and just diagnosed with Carcinoma in Situ/ Vulvar Intraepithelial Neoplasia 3/ Severe Dysplasia. Could someone please tell me what exactly this means. Most of what I read and have been told by my regular doctors, it means Localized, Not spread and PRE Cancer. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this?
This spot is on the clitoris and I am so scared about going to the oncologyst next week.
What can I expect at my first appointment?
What kind of tests should I expect?
What treatments are the best to keep the chances low of recurrance?
Is this Cancer or Pre Cancer?
Is it Localized or not localized?
The last two questions are based on the biopsy results, I know no one can diagnose but if anyone has had these same results and not had it anywhere but the spot it was located in to begin with please help to shed some light on this. It took me days to find a group out there with this same situation. I really would love to talk to others that have been there or are going through this. I am so scared right now and just reading some of the posts on here I am already feeling alot more hopeful than I was ten minutes ago. :)
