My MIL was diagnosed w/follicular thyroid cancer w/mastesization to lungs & liver in Feb. - she has been going downhill ever since (had some chemo & I-131 treatments) - she's skin on bone & lately has been talking to people who are not in the room, seeing strange things (spots on her arms), & is sleeping most of the time that she is not tossing & turning (very restless). But she in no pain & can carry on a converstion & urinates frequenly.
I'm so worried - could this be close to the end? Doctors never really gave us a time except its stage 4. Anyone w/experience with a death of someone w/Stage 4 cancer.
