Treatment And Experience

My wife has vaginal cancer and is being treated by RADIATION THERAPY. To this date she has had 10 treatments. I should like to share experiences with anyone who has this same disease. Richard

I have just been diagnosed with vaginal cancer and due to start chemo and radiation in the next week. I am a very religious person and going into this with a can do attitude. At 51 years old I am in my prime and will fight with all I have. I can't help you yet but willing to keep in touch. Where are you located

I, too, was being treated for vaginal cancer last September 2004. I have finished the treatments and am in remission. But, there are those pesky side effects from radiation and chemo. I don't know anyone else who has had it, so there's no one to talk to and the answer I get from doctors is "Well, everyone is different." Thanks a lot. I would be more than happy to answer any questions about my illness. I hope your wife is doing well.

I started treatment for vaginal cancer last September 2004. I was treated with radiation and chemotherapy. I was also treated by my family doctor, who specializes in Classical Homeopathy, but got his md from Stanford University. I have had wonderful results. If you need to ask me anything or just need someone to chat with, please feel free. There is no information out there about this, it's so rare. I hope you are doing well. P.S. I'm 58 and like you, it's going to take more than this to get me down.
