Financial Help For Treatment Tonsil Cancer

My 52 year old husband and I (51 years old) are seeking financial help, because he was just diagnosed with tonsil cancer in August 2004. We have had nine teeth removed, without dental insurance and now are beginning the radiation treatments within the next week or two. We have only been married for nine months. To top it all off, my husband's boss has decided to cut his hours from 40 to 30, since he has to leave for his appointments so much. I cannot work, because, I am disabled. We were sweethearts in eighth grade and our parents decided we were too young to be in love. Our dads broke us up and we went our own way. He married right out of high school and so did I. His first wife died in a motorcycle wreck, leaving him with two small children. His second wife was all right for the first eight years and then after two more children, she decided to become a drug addict. His third wife asked him for a divorce because he was having malignant melanoma surgeries. She just couldn't handle it. I was in a 32 year marriage and suffered verbal abuse and had two beautiful daughters. I finally divorced the first husband and hunted for my first love. Found him on the internet. He was living alone with his dog. We started chatting and the same ole feeling was still there. We were married this past December. We are very much in love and want to live many years together. We are just drowning in bills. Someone told me the American Cancer Society would help, but so far, I haven't found anything or anyone who might direct us to some kind of help. If anyone out there knows where we can get assistance, please let me know. Also, please tell us anything you can remember about your radiation treatments and how hard it was for you. Many thanks, A Loving Wife

First I'd like to say that is a fairy tale love story. Congrats on finally finding each other again. I came accross these financial resources info while doing research. (my husband also has cancer) Some don't have phone numbers and some may not apply to you but they may be able to steer you to who can. I hope it helps. God bless.
