I'm Scared, Please Help!!!

Last week, I found a small growth on the right side of my clitoris.  I had an appointment with my dermatologist for my annual skin cancer check this morning and showed it to her.  She said it looks like a cyst, but to be sure, she wants to remove it (cutting, not laser) and do a biopsy.  We scheduled for friday.

I also called my gyno, she can see me tomorrow for a second opinion.  I have had small cysts before, not on my genitals, but like in my bikini line area, so it may be a cyst.  But I am very scared about this, it is about the size of a BB, but a little smaller.  It doesn't hurt.  I had my annual pap smear in March and everything was fine.

Has anyone had this experience or can give me some reassurance?  I'm awfully scared about being cut in that area, due to all the nerve endings.  She already told me this will hurt.  She wanted to do it today, but I said no, being as I was in shock.  She also said that I will be awake for this procedure!!!!  Now that really scares me.

Any responses are much appreciated.   Thank you for your time.  This may be nothing, and that is what I am praying for.

I just found your message, you probably already know your outcome.

I was diagnosed with vulvar cancer... if I can help...I will. My cancer

stemmed from lichen sclerosis, a skin condition. Vulvar cancer is so

rare - you are probably fine.

Hi. I just put up a message under the heading, "I was just diognosed. Please read it...The biopsy didn't hurt at all, it was just the needle going in to deaden that hurt.
