Seneca Valley Virus

Hi there,

I too am interested in this trial, for my husband who has neuroendocrine cancer (unknown primary). He was diagnosed in Oct 05 and has been on various types of treatments since then, including Thalidomide.

 I see that you are "in line" for the trial - does that mean you have already been accepted as a candidate and are waiting for an opening? I called the Albany NY location about a month ago and they said they had 2 openings at that time, with 2 candidates in testing for those spots. We are not able to participate until sometime after July, due to previous commitments we had made. I am really hoping to hear from someone who has actually received this virus before we decide whether to try it or not.

I hope everything works out for you. Please let us know how you make out. Maybe this is the miracle we are all hoping for.
