Mild Dysplasia

I was diagnosed with severe dyslasia back in nov. '06 I went back for my pap smear  and it came back as mild dysplasia. My question is....... does having sex make the dysplasia worse? I have a boyfriend that I have been with for about 2 years. I have read that if you have hpv then you shouldn't change your sexual habits because your partner probably already has it.... but no one has said anything about mild dysplasia.

Hi, I too have mild dysplasia. I am pretty sure that having sex with your boyfriend will not make it worse. I am married and was told it was ok to cont. sex with my husband. I was also told to boost my immune system with veggies and fruits. My doctor told me that alot of times it will go away on its own but to keep up on follow up appointments so that if it doesnt they can take care of it. Good luck!
