Subject: To Nexavar/Sorafanib Users?

Hello

Question for anyone else on Nexavar, What is your dosage and do you continue to take them or do you take for so many weeks and then a week off? I had been taking with out a break for 9 weeks then I had some complications so I stopped for about 12 days. Now back on. Would be greatful to hear what others are doing.

Thanks, Deets

My husband had initial surgery in Nov, 06 and had two small tumors in the liver with a questionable node.  Did radiation for 7 weeks and now is on Nexavar 800 mg daily.  I think this is his 6th week of nexavar and the side effects have not really been a problem.  He does have tenderness on the bottoms of his feet but raising them at night seem to alleviate the pain.  We're not sure, but sometimes I also think that it gives him angina within about 1/2 hour or hour after he takes a dose.  But then it goes away within about 15 minutes, quite strange.  Hope this is helpful!

Thank You for the feedback, always nice to hear how others are doing. I have been having some troubles with side affects. So now I am on a reduced med plan at this time. I guess my body just needs a break.

But I have been on Nexavar since end of May. I have had really good results so far.

Take Care
