The Pet Scan is one of the best scans to identify prostate cancer cells. It must use
a Carbon 11 acetate phamaceutical specific for
Prostate cancer. Washington University St. Louis has just completed a test trial and also has the availability of using Carbon 11 Acetate to scan.

Sloan Kettering New York also has availability
with this type of scan. Very hard to find
in many states.

My husband John had a radical prostatectomy
in l987 with a Gleason Score of 5+2. the
psa started rising again 5 years later. We hve
been using many treatments over the past years and he has been in realtively good health and spirits. Diet is very important. We do not eat beef or dairy products. We cautiously limit
all white sugar and white flour products. John takes 800 mg E 400 mg Selenium 200 mg CO10
500 C Fish Oil capsule. IP6 and MGN3 and amino acids He eats 6-8 servings of fruit and/or vegetables a day (serving size 1/2) cup) as many raw as possible. Wash all very well. Important to know you will find a way to survive and lead a reasonably good life. John has had many doctors as we have search the world for treatments and have been extremely cautious on our selections. New doors open
every day. John is not cured but he feels
pretty good and has a very good attitude.

Good luck, Ethel

My husband is 53, he had radical prostatectomy 12/2001 with a gleason 7 and it had gone in 1 lymth node. Now the PSA is rising 2.5 to 5.3 in 3 months. He is considering orchiectomy and possibly other drugs to fight the non-hormonal cancer part. I noticed the supplements John takes - where did you get the information for them and the diet? What other treatments have you tried with success?
