Hi,my husband was diagnosed with advanced stage lV NHL. We are young family. I like him to be around to help raise up our 3 boys. I experienced fear of the unknown, it comes and goes. And It's O.K . I tried to be objective as a care giver when it comes to treatments and therapy. It is hard. NHL is treatable. My husband was given cyclophospomide; 'had very bad reaction, then here comes floudarabin; did not touch him. Finally, retuximab in single doses did help rerduced the size of tumors. My husband was 35 years old when he was diagnosed. He is now 43 years old. He is looking good and feeling good. He is back to full time work and a good father to our boys. I am doing a research on the long term side effect of each chemo therapy he had. He is experiencing muscle aches and mild weak ness sometimes; during winter he feel the aches like arthritic pain. The MD's don't know where it is coming from. Not cancer. 'Hope things go well with you. I'm praying for you and your husband.
