we  think this infection went into his blood stream when they cut the soft tissue and the nurse put a hot towel betwen his thigh and did not have gloves on and i asked her where her glloves were the other nurse pumped his blood pressure when we went in to 190/110 and let it there, he had ultrasound of scrotum and was to see urologist in a week after taking the cipro and they never sit him up an appt so he was in so much pain i lost him please help me with this i am tryign to figure all this out and am so distressed   thanks much

 

Hi, The meds should quickly get this in order, if you are not showing signs of great improvement in 7-10 days be spicious that the meds or diagnosis is wrong. I agree it sounds like epididimitus. use ice on the groin with a towel over it, just to keep it cool, the coolness will pull out the swelling and then of coarse keep the feet elevated too.
