Mgus

Hi,

I am a 38-year-old female who was diagnosed with MGUS in December 2006.  I did the 24-hour urine test, a bone scan, CT, bone marrow test, etc to rule out the other stuff, and the hematologist said he'd be shocked if it was anything more than a simple (?) case of MGUS.

I went back for my 6-month check and my IgA had risen from 550 to 720.  All my other numbers were stable.  He was surprised my IgA had risen that much.  I have to go back in 3-months.

Anyone else have high IgA counts, with (seemingly) no other complications?  I don't know what to expect - if the numbers rise, am I doomed?  Or do the numbers go up and down over time?

Thanks,
Melissa
