Currently, one hospital offers the da Vinci prostatectomy in Canada:

This was found by a Yahoo search on da Vinci prostatectomy, which led to the website of the company that developed the machine. That website provides data on doctors and hospitals by country and US State.
In an average case the patient is ambulatory and goes home the day after surgery, wearing a catheter. The cath is usually removed in less than 2 weeks. This can be done by anyone. I've corresponded with a patient (who had the traditional surgery) who was given the special syringe for releasing the catheter and told how to remove it himself. He had no problem doing it.
As with any surgery, complications can arise. A patient with a weak abdominal muscles could get a umbilial hernia, requiring extra care before discharge.
Doctor consultation is key. Consulting with other prostate cancer patients is valuable as well.
Hope you can get advice from a Canadian regarding the other issues.
