I have never posted before, but am currently very scared. I am a 28 year old female. On June 26th, I had a biopsy for what I think is a new mole or new growth anyway. He mentioned melanoma and I have been freaked out. I have been looking online at pictures of melanoma and mine doesn't seem like any of them. It would most closely resemble nodular melanoma. It looked like a new raised up mole that grew in about a month's time. I do not remember having it at all. I went in because it started to hurt and was turning red around the border. I just want to know if anyone out there has ever heard of catching a nodular melanoma early. The information about them are so scary. Also, could it be something else? Thanks so much.
