My fiance has stage 4 colorectal cancer that has spread throughout his body including bone and spine. We are now at the point where the conventional treatment options are very few. If any one out there has had positive expierences with alternative cancer therapies I am all ears and appreciate any help or feedback.

 Thank you!

Hi,

You may want to check out LDN and cancer.  I think they are starting some trials on this.  It is very cheap, and looks worth a try.  My husband is waiting for his prescription.

Go through this alternative section, and see what other people have done.  There are some really good ideas.  Everyone is different, and needs different nutrients.  I have read a lot of people who have had success with Johanna Budwig's diet.

Go to lef (life extention), they have a good discussion on cancer protocols.

www.distance-healer.com also has a good discussion on protocols with links.  www.stopcancer.com, www.annieappleseed.com

World Without Cancer has a protocol online.  They are focused on enzyme therapy.

There is a lot out there, but you need to spend some time wading through it all.  When I find something that I think has some merit to it, I will go to NLM gateway search and see what scientific papers are written on it.

There are also alternative hospitals to go to, but can be expensive.

Oasis of Hope, Cancer Centers of America, and the Gerson Clinic.

Hope this gets you started.  I thought someone should answer your post.

Lynette

Hi jaypixie1 ..... I posted this message regarding a successful reversal of terminal prostate cancer on this board some months ago. This friend of mine continues to enjoy good health with no symptoms of disease. If, after reading his story, you are intereted in learning more regarding alternative protocols, i.e. diet, supplements and websites that offer good solid information please send me a private message and I'll be in touch. There is always hope! Shemay

Sorry.......I forgot the attachment: I am posting this story because it truly appears to be a miraculous result of a few weeks of non traditional treatments for terminal prostate cancer, a shift in intention and/or perhaps even Divine Intervention. A friend of mine was told in early December 2006 by oncologists that he would not survive to see Christmas. His wife who is a nurse, saw all of his scans and tests and understood she could soon be arranging for palliative care and making funeral arrangements. His cancer had spread throughout his body into most organs and bones and his lungs were so full he could hardly draw a breath. He was given steroids for pain control. After a few days of despair he decided to go ice fishing which is one of his great passions and something happened to change his mind set and he decided to fight. He made arrangements to take natural treatments at a complementary medical clinic nearby. He had about 12 weeks of weekly Intravenous Vitamin C/ Lipoic Acid infusions along with a 21 day course of daily injections of 714X. He did take one injection of Lupron at the beginning of these treatments. Today he has no symptoms of dis ease. He feels strong and healthy, takes no pain meds, has resumed all daily activities and his scans reflect this amazing change in his health. The oncologists who did his scans for him told him he should just keep up what he is doing. My understanding is that there are no side effects to these treatments other than a possible one to the high dose Vit.C if one has had a previous problem with kidney stones. I hope this message is helpful and hopeful to others and if anyone would like more information please feel free to contact me. Blessings Shemay

Do you think there is any hope if someone has lung cancer and mets to brain, to try somehting like this?  Where in the south would you go for something like this.  I am so new to this misery I have no idea if it would help my mom.

Hello Brenda....No treatment whether traditional or alternative can promise a 100% cure for any condition but cures do happen in both modalities. If one form of treatment has failed then why on earth would someone not try another form instead of just sticking with what is failing? There are directories on line for Naturopathic Clinics, Complementary Health Clinics and Homeopaths. Not all will offer the treatments described in the message about the terminal cancer reversal so it would be necessary to do some phoning to see what treatments are available that might be helpful. Here is a website for one such directory. ______________________________________________________________ http://www.google.com/Top/Health/Alternative/Naturopathy/Pra ______________________________________________________________ Blessings to you and your Mom Shemay ______________________________________________________________

My mom is out of options. Colon Cancer with mets to liver, lungs, adrenal gland, spine, and mediastymin. Has your husband started to LDN? How are his side effects? Where did he get the info from? Do you know where I could go to find more info on this? We are located in Chicago. Thanks so much.

Hi,

I am sorry to hear about your fiance.  You should try the Budwig diet as a foundation to all alternative remedies, this gives the body with essential  omega 3 oils, with an excellent protein and sulfur to make the cells healthy and resistant to cancer.  Agrimonia also tans the cells and helps to prevent further metastases, as well as boosting the immune system to fight the disease.  Berberine has been proven to kill colon cancer cells, as well as fungal infections, it allso benefits the heart, lowering blood pressure and lowering blood glucose levels.  Organic Germanium or GE132 is a powerful antioxidant that stimulates the immune system and destroys cancer cells.   Selenium is another powerful antioxidant to help in the fight against cancer, so is Maitake D Extract.  For further proof of the effects of Agrimonia, Organic Germanium, Maitake D Extract, Selenium and Berberine go to www.pubmed.gov, a service of the national library of medicine.  This is where you can see medical research information on traditional and alternative treatments.

Be sure to give your fiance plenty of green vegetables and colorful fruits as well as carrot and beet juice.  Stay away from refined carbohydrates,  sugar, processed and junk food.

I Hope all this helps, good luck!

 Benicia
