I am 55 and was Dx with Stage 1 Rectal Ca in 2005 just 1 year after being Dx with Stage 1 Lung Cacer. This was a second primary and not mets. I recently had a F/U PET that showed a new focus of activity with SUV of 7.2. My Onc thinks it is probably just physiologic since I had had a colonoscopy 2 weeks earlier. So I am gathering from this he thinks this is a false positive. Has anyone else experienced this.I always get a little anxious at scan time but I had never had a PET show this SUV level before Thanks for any input Debbie
