Hi

My father has PC which has spread to his bones.  Been on alternative meds for a year and all organic and no meat and just last month start Vit C therapy at 50,000 I.V.  Last we found out his psa is still rising  (was at 144 now 178).  The doctor said it means its not working.  Is there something else we can do?  I mean we have him on almost everything out there.. well jsut about.  He said the only other this is Prostasol...

my mom was also on vitamin c iv but wasn't doing it consistently.  the doctor treating my mom also had another cancer patient but with pancreatic cancer.  maybe your father needs to increase the amount of vitamin c.  maybe to 75,000 then to 100000.  you should discuss this with the doctor treating your father the vitamin c.

Hi Smpal. If you send me a private message I shall put you in touch with my friend who has survived terminal prostate cancer.....His psa numbers were in the thousands and the cancer was in bones, lungs....throughout his body. He did 714X along with the 50grams Int. Vit.C , also had one injection of Lupron and uses Essiac twice daily. Shemay

Thanks - i wonder why he did not suggeste that himself.  He is at 50,000 but we will ask and see if going up will make a difference or try another clinic if needed

 How is your mom doing?

Thank you

My mom passed away end of june 2007.  she wasn't consistently on the vitamin c treatment.  I discussed with the doctor treating her the vitamin c via through a port on her chest and he thought increasing from 50 to 100 would have been better.  my mom's cancer was just too advanced and she had all these extra problems so she would go to the hospital every week.  I know if I were to have cancer, I would have consistently used vitamin c.  I totally believe in it.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom.  Vitamin C can only do so much -but sometimes we can be too sick for even it to help. I too believe in it and my father is doing it once a week while he is on other alternative meds. As of now he is still doing pretty good and that is all we can ask for.  One day at a time.

take care

sophia
