In the past week my husband has been dia gnosed with glioblastoma multiforme. He has had surgery to remove some of it. We don't know if we will go the normal course of treatment. I am 40 he is 47 we have 6 children. I need him to live and I want to hear from anyone who has conquered this disease.
my daughter collapsed with hemmorage
right after turning 7
found to be GBM stage 4
she will be 12 in Jan.
We are of the lucky ones.
it is possible to survive,
have faith, and family support, never give up the fight
Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with a stage 3 GBM larger than a golfball. I was having severe headaches. I am 37 years old. They operated immediately and had a very successful resection or removal. I was back home after 2 days and currently have no symptoms of ever having a tumor. I am already back to work. I started radiation and chemotherapy last week and will continue for the next month and a half. Although i wouldn't say that i have beat it yet...i am well on my way. This can be beat!
