I am a new member to this website.  I have been reading various articles and messages and am thrilled to find a place where people reach out to one another.

I was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma a year ago.  I have been through 21 chemo treatments.  I have cancer throughout my body including my butt.  Now you can't tell me that God does not have a sense of humor.  My tumors are no longer growing or shrinking so my doctor sent me to MD Anderson for advice.  What an amazing place!  It is difficult to get in, but once you do, it is totally worth it.  I am now on a "chem-holiday" because my white blood cell count is really low.  The doctors said that I have had too much treatment in too short of a period of time.  So while I am feeling good, I want to reach out to as many people as I can with support and love.

I haven't been able to find any message boards on sarcoma.  Can anyone give me some web sites that I could check out.  I would truly appreciate it!

Good luck to all and please know that you are not alone in your battle.  We are all striving to beat this awful disease and maintain a healthy and happy life!

That was a wonderful reply to Lover of Life.  I saw you gave him

a site to look up...maybe, just maybe you can guide me to another

site....my partner has adenosarcoma of the ovary.  I only found a

site which was a physicians study stating that only 40 woman in

the world had this dx and only twenty were ovarian (the others

were uterine).  But I can't seem to find anything else.  If you

know of more medical sites, I'd so appreciate it.

Hello, information on adenosarcoma is very  difficult to find, I was glad to find this message board.   I am one of the few who have this diagnosis--

I suffered from endometriosis for years, had a total hysterectomy but still the stuff grew back.  In 2002 I thought I had more endo, but this time pathology said it was adenosarcoma.  I've been on Megace for over 5 years, but a tumor has grown -- am now on Aromasin (breast cancer drug), as there isn't anything else to do except more surgery.

Best of luck, Epiphany
