Hi to al! I discovered this site just today and what an awesome vehicle
to openly discuss our common cancer ailments. I'm encourage to read of
first timers asking for advice or other helps and you the readers
responding to their questions. Last night was the LAST application of
efudex at 2/day, 14 days and I'm glad that part is over. This treatment
was mild compared to ten years ago which was my first time. I had no
idea then what to expect. On this siteĀ I read of burned faces
busting open and bleeding, the stares of people and the statement of
one writer who said," The last few days of application were like
applying gasoline to the effected area" or something to that effect.
ALL these were true for me. Some patients seem to react without that
intensity, good for you few! Now I'm anxiuos to try the vaseline on my
face to relieve the burning and itching, especially around my
nostrils/cheek area (dang it hurts!) Thanks for the tips everyone.
