John lost his battle with cancer on July 9th.
He had tried to do the chemo but it was just too late. It has been very difficult to sit & watch his battle and to watch him losing ground everyday.
He passed peacfully in his sleep with all his family near. We actually had a BBQ that day at his house so that we were all where he could hear us. He loved to BBQ & the smell of the wood smoke was comforting to him he said.
We sure will miss him.
