Subject: Flax Oil
Date: 07/19/2007

I am new to the idea of flax oil and cottage cheest for the treatment of cancer.  A few questions come to mind, though...

According to Dr. Budwig, the diet must be followed with the flax oil / cottage cheese.  Can the benefits be reaped by simply adding the flax / cheese to a normally good diet?  Cliff Beckwith didn't give any indication of a dietary change in his testimonial.

Can someone clear this up for me?

I have known about the flax seed oil/cottage cheese for a while but I found it difficult to eat it because of its taste. Lately I found a new recipe which tastes better so I started to take it again. : 3 tablespoons of certified organic flaxseed oil, 3/4 cup of organic low fat cottage cheese, mix well with a hand beeter than pour the mixture in a blender, add fruit of any kind, straberries, grapes, apples, kiwi, bananas  etc.. all cut in small pieces, if needed you can add a little milk. It almost tastes good. If you would like more information about the budwid   diet  go to www.nutrition 2000. com. The way I understand it that the more you are carefull about your diet the better it is. This diet normally calls for lots of vegetables and fruit, no red meat (beef, lamb & pork) no white flour better whole grain bread and pasta. I am personally taking lot of other supplements like melatonin, essiac tea, goji juice , I am not sure if they are helping but they sure are not hurting. According to my oncologistI had six months to live , this was last november 2006, I am still arouund and in decent good shape. no pains, drive my  car  , live alone and play lots of bridge.

You should also look up melatonin. try to find a report on melatoni and cancer treatment by Eileen M. Lynch and oncology researcher, tyou may find this report at : www.lef.org/magazine/mag2004/jan2004_report_melatonin_01 ,

Good luck, Rosalia
