SHIRLEYANNE Message: mother with adeno carcinoma cancer Caregiver SHIRLEYANNE Recommend this Message Report Abuse Email a Friend Track this Message [Remove] Subject: mother with adeno carcinoma cancer Date: 07/21/2007 mother was admitted to the hospital on wednesday,her lung had collasped.the doctors finally talked her in to having radiation for two weeks they seem to think that will kill the cancer.the doctors said that she was to sick of person for chemo.does anyone have advice that would be helpful for me to understand.will the cancer come back?and will the radiation make her sicker than what she is?what do i need to look for during the radiation and afterwords? They gave me 10 radiation treatments for symptomatic relief. No cure though.Since I have them ,I cough much less and no more blood sputum.So it will help your mother temporarely but do not expect anything more.
