My beautiful 9 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback was diagnosed with TTC yesterday. I have been reading your posts and my heart goes out to all of you that are going through this.....I am new at all of the research and found some helpful information here on the boards. Bogey has had what we thought was a UTI for the past few months. After x-ray, ultrasound and then surgery to take a biopsy it was confirmed that she has TTC. It has also gone into her lymph nodes. I am trying to figure out the best course of action here. We will not do surgery since it's already in the lymph nodes. The vet told me the prognosis was poor but is going to consult an oncologist and another doctor in the practice. I am not sure how long she has left but will try my best to make it comfortable. She is very happy and you would never know she was sick. She does pee a lot when she is out and wakes me up once a night to go out. I am sick and heartbroken. I have two young boys (8 and 5) that will be devastated. I have seen different posts on Graviola and staying away from Carbs and homemade meals. All of these are doable...Just wanted some feedback to see what works and what doesn't. Thanks so much for your support. I'm so glad I found this board..
