Aloha everyone,

Does anyone out there have a sensitivity to M.S.G (mono sodium glutamate)?  According to my allergist, M.S.G isn't a food allergy but a sensitivity issue.  The reason I ask this is because I have food allergies that started after I had my TT in 1995.

Just some background information on me.  I grew up on Oahu, Hawaii and was raised on M.S.G as a seasoning in most of all our foods.  Lately, I've done research and the net is saying it's highly toxic, etc.  I've been wondering if this is the cause of my thyroid cancer.  My list of food allergies is endless.  Perservatives are the worst for me.

Thanks in advance.  Take Care & God Bless.

Aloha, Paulette

I too think this is what happens. I believe that once the cancer is out of your body you become sensitive to what gave you the cancer since its no longer there to absorb it. I just recently, Oct. 3, had my mole removed which after furhter examination was malignate melanoma. About three or so days after, problems with perservatives arrived and also other "sensitivities" which include many products that contain msg in its other forms, along with milk.
